I came across this article in Redbook - yes in Redbook - and it's something we could all benefit from.  Sheila Glass who wrote the article has gotten some some smokin' tips from lots of women on how to ignite and keep our sex lives revved up.

Sleeping Pills - Are They The Answer?

Sleep has become the national obsession.  People are choosing more sleep over more sex, how crazy is that?  If you aren't getting enough - sleep that is - what should you do?  Is it time to wave the white flag and surrender to the lure of the sleeping pill?

Dr. Lois Krahn of the Mayo Clinic says, "sleeping pills could be considered when sleep loss is compromising daytime functioning."  So, if you are falling asleep at your desk, or worse, behind the wheel of your car, it's definetely time to do something about it.

I had to run to my computer and write this blog after watching Michael GIll on CBS's Sunday Morning program. 

When I finished reading Eat Pray Love I thought I had reached the top of the mountain when it came to inspirational stories.  But, today Michael Gill took me to new heights.  I haven't read the book yet, but have no doubt whatsoever, that Michael was on a path that the universe had in store for him all along. A path we will all go down as part of our own spiritual journey.

What I heard this morning was how an affluent man fell from grace.  And, how that experience opened his heart, allowing him to experience a new and profound kind of joy.

Success In The New Year - Going From Where You Are To Where You Want To Be

The final chapter of 2007 is almost ready to be put to bed.  That means once again we'll sit back and judge what we've done, or not done, over the past 12 months.  Unfortunately, that harsh, you're never good enough voice that lives inside our head will probably rule the day.  And, as the year ends, we will be counting our failures rather than appreciating our victories.

This New Year's lets all toast to transforming that voice. Let's promise ourselves not to obsess on the woulda, coulda, shouldas and learn a new way of being.  Let's start down the "all things are possible" road. Real Cougars - What We Really Want For Christmas

As much as our men love us sometimes they need a little help when it comes to gift giving.  This year The Real Cougar Woman wants to be shown just how much she is appreciated.  So tell him it's not about bling it's about getting a gift from his heart to yours.

If you want, help him out.  Make him a list of what would really make you smile and slip it under his pillow.  Here's a few suggestions that will get your creative juices cranking.

• a heartfelt email three times a week just to say he's thinking of you

Acupuncture Facelifts - Better Than Botox?

Can acupuncture really make your face look younger?  To be honest, I have not tried it, but other women who have say it does make them look more rested and vibrant. 

I've never used Botox either, but here's what a shot of Botox does. Knowing what the various treatments are supposed to deliver will help you make an educated decision.  When Botox is injected into the muscles of the face  it blocks nerve impulses which results in the weakening of the muscles that cause frowning. Eventually over a period of several months, given enough of these injections, the frown lines start to get softer and in many cases can disappear completely.

Breast Cancer: Arimidex Getting Good Results Long Term

About 75 per cent of breast cancers diagnosed are in postmenopausal women, and 8 in 10 are of the hormone receptor positive type.

A new study just released is showing great promise because it suggests that in clinical trails the benefits of anastrazole (Arimidex) lasted longer than the benefits of tamoxifen after treatment is finished.

Arimidex, from AstraZeneca, is an aromatose inhibitor used to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women with hormone sensitive breast cancer.  Aromatose inhibitors reduce the amount of estrogen which send signals to breast cancer cells to grow.

Donna Karan Or Should I Say Cougar

The New York Post's Page Six is asking has Donna Karan finally found love.  The fashion designer, a widow for six years, has been spending time with model J.J. Biasucci who is 30.  Donna is now 59.

Apparently she took J.J. on a vacation to Bali several months ago and has been spending almost every night with him since.  Could there be wedding bells in her future?

Donna is taking Real Cougar to a whole new level, but he sure is cute. You never know where you are going to find happiness.
